About the crypto to fiat converter

Every pair on this page is a live crypto to fiat converter. The rate is the current market price, and each pair page adds a calculator, conversion tables for common amounts, and the coin's market cap and 24h volume. Prices refresh on every load, so a conversion from an hour ago may already be out of date.

Developers can pull the same rates into their own apps through the ChainGate SDK, alongside wallets, balances and transactions for Bitcoin, Ethereum and 20+ other blockchains.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert crypto to fiat?

Pick a pair from the list, for example BTC to USD, and type the amount. The page multiplies it by the live market rate and shows the result in the fiat currency. Swap the direction to see how much crypto a given amount of fiat buys. Right now 1 BTC is worth $81,066.76 and 1 ETH is worth $2,374.30.

What does crypto to fiat conversion mean?

Fiat is government-issued money such as the US dollar, the euro or the yen. Converting crypto to fiat means expressing a crypto amount in one of those currencies at the current exchange rate. Crypto trades around the clock and the rate moves every few seconds, so the figures on this site update on every page load.

Which cryptocurrencies and currencies are supported?

10 cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, BNB, DOGE, AVAX, LTC, POL, BCH, MNT, CELO) against 5 fiat currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CNY), 50 pairs in total. Each pair has its own page with a calculator, conversion tables and the current market cap and 24h volume.

Where do the rates come from?

The rates come from ChainGate's market data API, the same feed the SDK exposes to developers. No spread or fee is added on this site. The amount you get when you sell on an exchange will differ slightly, because exchanges charge trading fees and quote their own bid and ask prices.

Can I cash out crypto to fiat here?

No. This is a price calculator; it does not hold funds or execute trades. To turn crypto into money in your bank account you need an exchange or broker that supports your country and currency. Check the market rate here before you sell, so you can see how much of the difference is the exchange's fee.
