Binance Pool Shuts Down on November 10, 2026: Deadlines, What Miners Must Do and the End of the BTC Transaction Accelerator

What stops, when, and what to do before the cutoff, by ChainGate. ·

Binance is closing Binance Pool. The exchange announced on October 13, 2026 that the mining pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and the BTC Transaction Accelerator all stop at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026. Miners have until then to point their machines at another pool, Pool Savings users must redeem before the cutoff, anyone owed a final payout must finish identity verification by 23:59 UTC that day, and the pool's pages go offline for good on November 24.

As of October 16, 2026, Binance Pool found 8 of the last 1088 Bitcoin blocks (0.7%), so the network will barely notice. A transfer confirming within about half an hour costs 3 sat/vB (about $0.35) right now, which means nothing is stuck and nobody needs an accelerator today. Both figures come from mempool.space and refresh with every block.

The short version

  • Everything stops at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026: hashrate submissions, share crediting, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the Transaction Accelerator, the mining API and the Telegram and email alerts.
  • Shares submitted before the cutoff still count. Binance says eligible unpaid rewards and refunds are processed after closure under its usual rules.
  • Identity verification for the final payout must be complete by 23:59 UTC on November 10. Pool pages stay readable until 07:00 UTC on November 24, then disappear.
  • Binance Pool ran about 2.3% of the network at the end of 2025 and under 1% now, so fees and block times do not change. Stuck transactions can still be fixed with replace-by-fee, child-pays-for-parent or another pool's accelerator.

1. What did Binance announce?

On October 13, 2026 Binance published a support notice saying that, as part of an ongoing review of its products and services, it will discontinue Binance Pool and related services on November 10, 2026. The list covers the mining pool itself, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the BTC Transaction Accelerator, the Telegram hashrate alerts, the email notifications and the mining pool API.

Binance Pool opened in April 2020. Hashrate Index ranked it ninth among Bitcoin pools at the end of 2025 with about 26 EH/s, or 2.3% of the network, and called it the last pool left from the years when exchanges moved into mining. CoinDesk reports that the hashrate pointed at the pool has since fallen to about 9 EH/s, under 1% of the network, a drop of roughly two thirds. Binance gave no reason beyond the product review. Decrypt notes that the exchange shut its NFT marketplace in July, so this is the second product it has retired this year.

The pool paid miners on a full pay-per-share (FPPS) basis. It also mined other proof-of-work coins, including Ethereum Classic, Kaspa, Dogecoin, Zcash, Dash and Nervos, and all of them stop on the same date.

2. What are the deadlines?

Four dates matter. All of them come from the Binance notice as reported by Decrypt and CoinDesk, and the status column is what we can confirm as of October 16, 2026.

Date (UTC)What happensStatus
October 13, 2026Binance announces the closure of Binance Pool and related services.Done.
November 10, 2026, 07:00Stratum URLs are disabled and miners are disconnected. Shares submitted after this time are not accepted or credited. Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the Transaction Accelerator, the API and the alerts stop.Scheduled.
November 10, 2026, 23:59Deadline to complete identity verification for anyone who is owed a final payout.Scheduled.
November 24, 2026, 07:00Binance Pool pages become permanently inaccessible. Until then they stay open in read-only mode so you can download records and check payment status.Scheduled.

There is no grace period on the hashrate side. A machine still pointed at Binance Pool at 07:01 UTC on November 10 earns nothing from that minute on. Work submitted before the cutoff counts toward the final payout, which Binance calculates under the pool's existing rules.

3. What do miners have to do before November 10?

Point your machines at another pool before the cutoff. In practice that means creating an account at the new pool, creating a worker name, and replacing the Stratum URL, username and password in each miner's configuration or in your farm management software. Most ASIC firmware takes a primary pool and two backups, so you can add the new pool as primary today and leave Binance as a backup until the switch is done.

Which pool? The question has no neutral answer, and Binance has not said where it expects its miners to go. The live table in section 6 shows who found the blocks over the last seven days according to mempool.space, which is the simplest way to see where the hashrate is. The three largest pools in that table also hold about 64% of the network in Hashrate Index's latest figures, so a miner who cares about decentralisation may prefer one of the smaller pools or a non-custodial option such as OCEAN or Braiins. Compare payout schemes (FPPS, PPS+, PPLNS), fees and minimum payout amounts before you move.

Then clean up on the Binance side. Withdraw any balance sitting in the pool account, download your earnings and hashrate history before November 24, and if you have never completed identity verification on the Binance account that receives the payout, do it before 23:59 UTC on November 10 or the final payment cannot be made.

4. What happens to Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and unpaid rewards?

Pool Savings was the product that let miners earn interest on mined coins held in the pool account. Decrypt reports that users must unsubscribe or redeem their positions before the service ends on November 10. Do it early rather than on the day: a redemption that has not settled when the service closes becomes a support ticket.

Cloud Mining, which sold hashrate so customers could earn mining rewards without owning hardware, is on the same list and stops on the same date. Binance's notice does not spell out how running contracts are settled, so check your contract terms in the Cloud Mining dashboard while it is still readable.

For everyone, the notice says that eligible outstanding rewards, balances and refunds are processed after the closure under Binance's applicable rules. CoinDesk adds that the final-payout identity check is the one hard deadline, 23:59 UTC on November 10. If you are missing a payment after the closure, the read-only pages up to November 24 are your evidence, so save them.

5. What was the BTC Transaction Accelerator, and how do you unstick a transaction without it?

The BTC Transaction Accelerator was a paid service run by Binance Pool. You pasted the ID of a transaction that was stuck in the mempool because its fee was too low, Binance quoted a price, and after payment the pool gave the transaction priority in the blocks it found. It required a verified Binance account. From November 10 it is gone, and for most people that changes little, because the fixes built into Bitcoin work without any pool.

Bitcoin fee rates right now

Whether a transaction is stuck depends on the fee you paid versus what miners accept now. These are the current rates from mempool.space for a typical 141 vB transfer, as of October 16, 2026 at a BTC price of $82,385:

Confirmation targetFee rateFee for a transferIn dollars
Next block3 sat/vB423 sat$0.35
About 30 minutes3 sat/vB423 sat$0.35
About 1 hour1 sat/vB141 sat$0.12
Economy (hours)1 sat/vB141 sat$0.12

If your pending transaction paid at least the economy rate, it will confirm on its own. If it paid less, you have three options.

Replace-by-fee (RBF)
Rebroadcast the same payment with a higher fee from the wallet that sent it. Nodes replace the old version with the new one and the recipient still sees a single payment. The rule is BIP 125, and since Bitcoin Core 28 nodes relay replacements by default even when the original transaction was not flagged as replaceable.
Child-pays-for-parent (CPFP)
Spend an output of the stuck transaction in a new transaction with a high fee. Miners judge the parent and the child as a package, so the child's fee pays for both. This is the route for the recipient, or for a sender whose wallet does not support RBF but has a change output.
Another pool's accelerator
mempool.space sells acceleration through the pools it partners with, and ViaBTC offers a free tier with a limited quota plus a paid one. Use these only when RBF and CPFP are impossible, for example a transaction with no change output sent from a wallet you no longer control.

There is a fourth option that costs nothing: wait. A transaction that nodes drop from their mempool after about two weeks is not lost; the coins simply become spendable again. Our Bitcoin fees guide explains how the fee is built from the transaction size, and the ChainGate SDK exposes the recommended fee tiers so a transaction can be sent at the right rate in the first place.

6. Does the closure affect Bitcoin fees, hashrate or security?

No. Hashrate does not leave the network when a pool closes; the machines move to another pool and keep hashing. Fees are set by demand for block space, not by who finds the blocks, and the difficulty adjustment every 2,016 blocks absorbs any temporary dip.

Who found the last 1088 blocks

2. F2Pool18116.6%

4. MARA Pool645.9%
5. SpiderPool545%
6. Luxor484.4%
7. SECPOOL383.5%
12. Binance Pool80.7%

The three largest pools found 63.1% of those blocks. That concentration existed before the Binance notice and is the number worth watching, because it is what a closed pool's miners add to when they move to the biggest names.

CoinDesk's October 15 report puts the latest Hashrate Index figures at about 9.2 EH/s for Binance Pool and about 64.2% for Foundry USA, AntPool and F2Pool combined. If every remaining Binance miner joined those three, their share would reach roughly 65%. The closure follows SBI Crypto, which shut its pool on July 31, 2026 with about 2% of the network, and OKX, which left pool operations in February 2024.

7. Does it affect Binance exchange users?

The notice lists only pool products: Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the Transaction Accelerator and the alerts and API that served them. It says nothing about spot trading, Bitcoin deposits or withdrawals, or the rest of the exchange, and none of those depend on Binance running a mining pool. If you never opened the Pool section of your account, nothing in this announcement applies to you.

The one group of exchange users who should check is anyone who used the Transaction Accelerator to push a stuck deposit through. That tool disappears on November 10, and the alternatives in section 5 work from your own wallet, not from the exchange.

8. What is confirmed and what is still open?

Confirmed

  • Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the Transaction Accelerator, the mining API and the Telegram and email alerts stop at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026.
  • Shares submitted before the cutoff count toward the final payout. Identity verification for that payout must be complete by 23:59 UTC on November 10.
  • Pool pages stay readable until 07:00 UTC on November 24, 2026 and are then removed.
  • Binance Pool's share of the network was 2.3% at the end of 2025 and is under 1% now, per Hashrate Index and mempool.space.

Still open

  • The reason. Binance has only cited an ongoing review of its products and services.
  • Where the remaining hashrate goes. Binance has not named a partner pool or a migration path.
  • How running Cloud Mining contracts are settled. The notice does not describe the mechanics.
  • The pool's lending programme. CoinDesk recalls a $500 million lending line announced through the pool in October 2022; the closure notice does not mention it or any outstanding balance.

Updates to this article

  • October 15, 2026: first published. Dates and the list of discontinued services taken from the Binance support notice of October 13 as reported by Decrypt and CoinDesk; hashrate figures from Hashrate Index and the mempool.space mining dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

When does Binance Pool shut down?

At 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026. From that moment Binance Pool stops accepting hashrate and crediting shares, and Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the BTC Transaction Accelerator, the mining API and the alert services stop as well. The pool pages remain readable until 07:00 UTC on November 24, 2026.

Can I keep mining on Binance Pool until November 10?

Yes. Binance says the pool operates normally until the cutoff and that shares submitted before 07:00 UTC on November 10 count toward the final payout. Anything submitted after that is rejected, so switch your miners before the deadline rather than at it.

Will I receive my unpaid mining rewards?

Binance says eligible outstanding rewards, balances and refunds are processed after the closure under its existing rules. The one deadline is identity verification: if the account that receives the payout is not verified by 23:59 UTC on November 10, 2026, the final payment cannot be made.

What happens to Pool Savings and Cloud Mining?

Both stop on November 10, 2026. Pool Savings users must redeem or unsubscribe before the service ends. The notice does not describe how running Cloud Mining contracts are settled, so check your contract terms in the dashboard while it is still accessible.

What was the Binance BTC Transaction Accelerator, and will it still work?

It was a paid service from Binance Pool that gave priority to a stuck Bitcoin transaction in the pool's blocks after you submitted the transaction ID and paid a quoted fee. It stops on November 10, 2026 with the rest of the pool. Replace-by-fee, child-pays-for-parent and the accelerators run by mempool.space or ViaBTC do the same job.

How do I speed up a stuck Bitcoin transaction without the accelerator?

If you sent it, use replace-by-fee in your wallet to rebroadcast with a higher fee. If you are the recipient, or your wallet cannot replace, spend an output of the stuck transaction with a high-fee child (CPFP). If neither is possible, an accelerator from another pool can include it for a fee. Check the current sat/vB rate first; if your transaction paid at least the economy rate it will confirm on its own.

Why is Binance closing its mining pool?

Binance has only said the decision is part of an ongoing review of its products and services. Hashrate Index data cited by CoinDesk shows the pool's hashrate fell from about 26 EH/s at the end of 2025 to about 9 EH/s, under 1% of the network, which is small for a pool with its fixed costs. Binance closed its NFT marketplace earlier in 2026 as well.

Does the Binance Pool closure affect Bitcoin's price, fees or security?

It should not. The pool found about 1% of blocks over the last month, and its miners will reconnect to other pools rather than switch off. Fees depend on demand for block space, and the difficulty adjustment absorbs any short dip in hashrate. The one effect to watch is pool concentration, since the largest three pools already find roughly two thirds of blocks.
